Would be nice to see the club hold a minutes silence during one of the remaining games even if fans can't be there as a sign of respect. I'm sure Declan Rice would have already considered mentioning it to the powers that be.
Would be better if a couple of players that knew Dennis had Lepine on the back of their shirts and stood with their heads bowed instead of taking the knee. I think that would go down well with the fans.

I hadn’t known Dennis anything like as long as all his mates and you, Bill, but I saw enough to know he was a man of good humour who wouldn’t want everyone being miserable, so I’m sure whatever happens should be more a celebration of his life than mourning his passing. No doubt there will be some tears, but there should be some smiles and even laughter too, and above else some forward thinking and plans for the future, particularly the continuation of the Hornchurch Coach service.
I hope Jackie can see it that way, bless her.

Bill, you said you didn’t want it turning into jolly boy’s outing but with a bubble machine and a microphone/speaker, it’s turning into a fairground. I’ll see the hearse roll off and that’s it. I can then say at least I went briefly.

The coach firm are laying on a coach free of charge, to take people down from Hornchurch station to Dennis' house on 23rd June at 10.30. This will be a single trip, You will be able to use the loo on the coach, or if you would like to take a rest, the coach will stay near Dennis' house until we leave at 12.10. Thank you PETER GODWARD COACHES BASILDON for doing this. We would like to borrow a bubble machine and a loudspeaker, if you can help, who mail me.

I won't contact her until a few days after the funeral to let them grieve properly.
I'll be in hornchurch saturday when I'll speak to my dad who will know someone suitable.
